Do you conduct credit checks?

As the lender finder, we do not conduct credit checks. However, your lender may do one. But don’t fret as this is not the only thing lenders look at. Our lenders believe they get a much more accurate representation of your ability to repay your loan by looking at your current income and spending habits rather than your past mistakes. Just keep in mind that the outcome of all applications is subject to the final assessment carried out by your lender.

The reason we ask for your internet banking credentials is so that we can verify your income and spending habits. We believe that this is the best way to get an accurate representation of your current financial situation and relationship with money. Once you enter your details, our system will then obtain read-only copies of your bank statements for us to assess. It’s the exact same as you manually submitting them yourself except it’s done in a fraction of the time.

Can I apply if I’m bankrupt?

Yes, you can! Current or non discharged bankruptcies may not stop you from getting a loan. You might still be eligible for a medium secured personal loan ranging from $2,001 to $5,000. The best thing to do is just apply and let us have a look at your current situation.

What responsibilities do borrowers have?

All that we ask of you is that you remember that we found you the loan you needed, so the very least you can do is make sure that you have enough money in your account so your repayments can be processed. You’ll want to make sure that you set these dates up in line with your pay, so to ensure there are sufficient funds in your account when they take the repayment. If you need to check these dates, take a quick look through your loan contract. If you’re worried about missing a payment or not having enough cash in your bank account on the date that your direct debits are set to go off, make sure you get in touch with your lender as quickly as possible.

Before you’re granted financial hardship, you may need to provide evidence (like separation certificates, Centrelink papers or proof of bills) to support your claim.
